He arrives in the dead of night
When the ravens fly
When the moon hangs high

He will make your heart rate rise
When he looks into your eyes
He will eat your soul
He will drain your life

He will get inside your mind
And freeze your blood to ice

As your blood starts to freeze
You won’t be able to move
When he is in the room

On the first night when he came by
I couldn’t see his face
I didn’t know from where he came
He came and left without a trace

But I knew he would soon come back
That darkness darker than black

And so he did many times
Every other night
Until I knew more than well
When he would arrive

Then he stepped inside my head
And showed me his trail of death
How he had killed many others
Daughters, sons, fathers, mothers
He showed me how they died
How they thought they were spiders
But ended as flies

This last night when he arrived
I finally saw his face
Before he left with a crooked smile
He whispered “I’ll leave you alone for a while

But have no doubts, I’ll always be around
I am that which always linger”
He whispered and grabbed me
With dead cold fingers

And as he did I could surely see
He looked just like me

He will come for you too!
He hunts under the moon!
