Visita ao centro da cidade de Lamego
Cidade milenar com passado romano, localizada na sub-região do Douro no distrito de Viseu. Foi conquistada definitivamente aos mouros em 1057 (No texto do vídeo está 1507 e está errado).
É sede da diocese de Lamego (a única diocese portuguesa que não corresponde a uma capital de distrito), possui muitos monumentos religiosos, dos quais se destacam a Sé Catedral, e o Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios
Lamego teve uma comunidade judaica que aí se fixou no século XV que construíram uma sinagoga junto às Portas do Sol no atual bairro do Castelo.

A thousand-year-old city with a Roman past, located in the Douro sub-region in the district of Viseu. It was definitively conquered from the Moors in 1057 (In the video text it is 1507 and it is wrong)
It is the seat of the diocese of Lamego (the only Portuguese diocese that does not correspond to a district capital), and has many religious monuments, the highlights being the Cathedral and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies
Lamego had a Jewish community that settled there in the 15th century and built a synagogue next to Portas do Sol in the current Castelo neighbourhood.
