The Tennessee Men's Chorale is comprised of men who serve as music ministers, worship leaders, or worship pastors in Tennessee Baptist churches. The group is a favorite at the annual state conventions. They also present local church concerts and are involved in mission tours singing the gospel in other states and countries. The chorale is an organization of the Tennessee Baptist Church Music Conference and is co-sponsored by the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board. The Tennessee Ladies Chorus, formed in 2001, is comprised of women involved in music leadership in their Tennessee Baptist churches. They present local church concerts and are involved in mission tours singing the gospel in other states and countries. Mary McDonald has served as pianist for the Tennessee Men’s Chorale for 30 years. She is a world-renowned composer, arranger, producer, pianist, and organist. With songs in the catalogs of every major publisher of church music, her more than 1000 anthems, seasonal musicals, and keyboard collections testify to her significant contribution to sacred literature. Her greatest desire is "to give God glory for the songs He has allowed me to compose. He alone is the true Creator behind my pen."

Dr. Scott Shepherd serves as Worship and Music Specialist with the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board. An active educator, worship leader, composer, and conductor, Scott received his education at Shorter University, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Webber Institute for Worship Studies. Scott directs the Tennessee Men’s Chorale and Tennessee Ladies Chorus, and his family of six (The Shepherd Family) are active worship leaders and performers. He and his family reside in Henry, Tennessee.
