Forging a Hatchet

In this video I forge a hatchet using the traditional wrap and weld method. I show the initial steel preparation and how it is folded to make the eye. I then forge weld the main body of the axe as well as make a carbon steel bit and forge weld it into place. Finally I show fitting the handle and making the leather sheath.
