Learn how to add beautiful designs on top of your lattes with this simple, easy-to-follow tutorial!
Directions:
Start by preparing the beverage and topping it with a layer of smooth microfoam.
Spoon foam and spread it across the top of the beverage to cover the surface evenly.
Draw or etch a design with sauce and with a thin implement (like a thermometer or toothpick) pull even lines through the sauce.
Design #1: Draw parallel lines then pull perpendicular lines through them
Design #2: Draw a spiral then pull evenly spaced lines radiating out from the center.
Design #3: Draw evenly spaced lines that intersect in the center (like spokes) then starting in the center, pull a spiral shape through them.
Viola beautifully simple, yet sophisticated, beverage presentation!
