Furniture Restorer Repairs Spring Upholstery Chairs by Fixing Furniture

Upholstered chairs take more time and skill to repair. Watch as Scott Bennett, a professional furniture restorer, repairs broken chairs with coil spring upholstery. Scott shares details of how to repair the chairs, remove the upholstery, and rebuild the upholstery. The coil springs are the most challenge part of the upholstery work. It requires laying out the springs and tying them in place, under pressure. Scott shares several knots used to secure the coil springs in place to provide a premium feel to the chairs that can't be reproduced with any other type of upholstery.
