A quick comparison between the Mojotone Quiet Coil NC-2, Fishman Rare Earth Blend, and Fishman Prefix Pro Blend acoustic pickups. The first two are magnetic soundhole pickups blended with a microphone. I also threw in the Prefix Pro Blend system which is a piezo pickup and mic because that is the factory installed pickup system on this Guild D40. All are good systems but it’s interesting to hear the differences. Let me know what you prefer.
All audio was recorded directly from the pickups into the TC Helicon GO TWIN with no additional processing. I tried to get a similar sounding blend on all the pickups.
