After getting stuck we found a nice place to explore and stay for the night. On we went on the smaller trails in the Icelandic Highlands. The area around Landmannalaugar are insanely beautiful. The road there was steep but the sights were well worth it! Icelandic horses and stunning waterfalls payed off the rear of going up
Again: no off-road driving at any point, all officially marked trails.
