This is a short ride from Clearwater to just north of Safety Harbor. It was overcast that day and in 1984 video cameras were big and bulky and you had to carry around a portable VCR on which to record. I was in the vestibule behind the engine when I crew member told me I could not be there. I lied and explained I was with a local TV station. He told me to have a good time. I then had to climb over a gate and make my way through the back of the F40. This explains why there is no video of the street running. Yes, I knew the engineer and he had waved me on up. I rode all the way to the wye at Gary. I shot most of the trip and will post more later one.
