Fly Fishing Montana's Big Hole River in June [Episode #26]

In this episode we are fly fishing trout on a cool day in June. This episode was filmed several years ago as you can tell by our lack of grey hair. We use our pontoon boats to float a couple of miles of the river getting out at likely spots to fish. We use nymphs like the Prince nymph early in the day and then late we get into a nice Mayfly hatch so we switch to light colored PMD type patterns. In the middle of the day a thunder storm moves in and we take refuge under a tree while we eat some lunch. So much fun ! A fantastic day in the outdoors of Montana. I hope you enjoy this episode.
