On September 17-21, 2024, Maui Huliau Foundation participated in Ho’ākea Maui with Hui o Waʻa Kaulua, Lele Aloha, and more than 30 other ‘āina and wa’a partners. Together we hosted four days of field trips serving over 1,000 students followed by an ʻOhana Day. Check out this short film created by Huliau staff & alumna Kiana Liu highlighting the week of festivities and these students’ experiences as they embraced the “Navigator Mindset” and the importance of mālama ‘āina.
