Shem Rock: Life on the Run, Finding Martial Arts and Striving for Greatness

In this episode of our Liverpool Tour Series, we are joined by one of the most recognisable faces in the Irish and UK MMA scene - Shem Rock.

Shem's story is like something out of a fiction novel - accused of a crime he didn't commit, he fled from home and spent the next 10 years of his life on the run. It was during this time abroad that he found martial arts, and began competing across Asia and eventually Europe, where he was finally arrested after suffering his first loss.

Shem then spent 6 months in jail before being cleared of the charge, and since his release has been chasing his ultimate goal – becoming the best martial artist he can be and fighting on the biggest stages in the world.
