Hello everyone and welcome back to the Forza series of drag races. For today's video we have brought back a car that we last seen on this channel since a year, which is the beast prototype race car, The Sauber-Mercedes C9, and we'll line it up against 3 hyper race cars, one is a hybrid track-focused car which is the P1 GTR, and one is a Pre-Tuned supercar which is the F50 GT, and one is a fast RWD supercar known as the TVR Cerbera Speed 12. Lets write down the specifications of each.
Lets start off with the #63 Sauber-Mercedes C9. A prototype race car that was introduced in 1989 as a replacement for the previous Sauber C8 and also a continuation of the partnership between Sauber as a constructor and Mercedes as an engine builder for the World Sportscar Championship. This Prototype beast is powered by a 5.0L M119 Twin-Turbocharged V8, and it produces 750 bhp and 597 lb.ft of torque, weighing only 907 kg and it uses a 5-Speed Hewland Manual Transmission that sends the power to its RWD train.
Moving onto the next car, the 1996 Ferrari F50 GT. Succeeding the F40 Competitzione, which is based on the F50 predecessor the F40, The F50 GT is a track-based version of the Ferrari F50. It features a 4.7L Naturally Aspirated V12, producing 750 bhp and 383 lb.ft of torque, weighing at just 908 kg and it uses a 6-Speed Sequential Manual Transmission that sends the power to its RWD train.
Now lets move onto the 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12. Originally known as the Project 7/12, it was a high performance concept car that was designed by TVR in 1997 , and it was intended to be the world's highest performance road car and the basis for a GT1 class endurance racer. Using a 7.7L Naturally Aspirated Speed 12 V12, it produces 800 bhp and 649 lb.ft of torque, weighing at just 975 kg and it uses a 6-Speed Manual Transmission that sends the power to its RWD.
And last but not least, we have the 2015 McLaren P1 GTR. Celebrating 20 years since their victory in the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans, McLaren announced that they would resurrect a track-only variant that is only available to the P1 Owners, and it is known as the P1 GTR. Unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, The P1 GTR was designed as McLaren's Ultimate track-focused driver's hybrid hypercar. Featuring a Hybrid 3.8L Twin-Turbocharged M838QT V8, supplemented by a ECU Electric motor, it produces a total power of 986 bhp and 738 lb.ft of torque, weighing at 1445 kg and it uses a 7-Speed dual-clutch transmission that sends the power to its hybrid RWD train.
Now with all the specifications given, lets line them both down the straight and find out the results.
