Imagine my delight when I got a tour of the HUGE projection room at the Historic AMBLER Movie Theater in Ambler PA. That night, Ridley Scott's ALIEN played on 35mm film to a sold out showing!
Projectionist NATE MYERS and girlfriend ABBY FORKELL show us all around the enormous projection booth which has 3 digital projectors and two 35mm projectors.

The www.amblertheater.org is one of the few movies theaters in Pennsylvania that still maintains and can project 35mm films on a regular basis.
Staff member Jesse Crooks keeps the machines in perfect working order and also maintains a large museum attached to the theater with several dozen vintage projectors you can see! The Ambler Theater has three screens and shows quite a large repertoire of independent movies too.
