In Angelus Chorale Variations van Ed de Boer staat het Angelus koraal van Georg Josep centraal. The chorale Angelus by Georg Joseph (c. 1630 – ca. 1668) is central to this composition. The work consists of an introduction, in which this chorale theme is exhibited as well as a theme that will serve as a fugue theme at the end of the piece. This is followed by four variations and finally a final in the form of a fugue.
