Today I’m going to show you how to stitch this super cute and trendy baby girl top and ruffle skirt set 💙
This outfit is perfect for casual days, birthdays, and photoshoots ✂️✨
Let’s start this easy and beautiful project!

✂️ Cutting Instructions:

🔹 Top Bodice (Front & Back):
• Use cotton or soft rayon fabric.
• Cut the front and back bodice as per chest and length measurements.
• Keep front neck slightly boat-shaped and back neck round or square.
• Add margin for shoulder, sides, and neckline.

🔹 Puff Sleeves:
• Cut a wide puff sleeve with double the armhole length.
• Add elastic allowance at the bottom.
• Create a separate folded cuff for a clean finish.

🔹 Front Bow Loops:
• Cut small bias strips and tie three decorative bows.
• Stitch vertically in the front center for style.

🔹 Skirt Base:
• Cut skirt panels (front and back) in A-line shape.
• Length: knee level or as per your choice.

🔹 Ruffle Layer:
• Cut a long strip for ruffle, approx. 2x skirt width.
• Hem the bottom and gather the top edge to match the skirt panel width.

🔹 Waist Belt & Bow:
• Cut waistband and prepare a decorative bow for one side.

🧵 Stitching Instructions:
1. Top Stitching:
• Join shoulder and side seams of the bodice.
• Finish neckline with facing or piping.
• Attach puff sleeves with gathers and add sleeve cuffs.
• Stitch decorative bows vertically at the front.
2. Skirt Stitching:
• Join skirt side seams.
• Attach ruffle to the bottom edge of the skirt.
• Stitch waistband with elastic or hook for closure.
• Add a cute bow to one side.
3. Final Touch:
• Hem all raw edges neatly.
• Press the outfit for a clean and professional finish.
