Summary: Izuku Midoriya stood on the rooftop of Aldera Junior High, ready to take his final step.

The world had made its choice—Quirkless, worthless, unwanted. Maybe if he disappeared, things would finally be easier. Maybe, for once, he wouldn’t be a burden.
But when the ground rushes up to meet him, something impossible happens.
