Welcome to the Creative Academy's 2025 online showcase, 'Chart to Stage'! We invite you on a musical journey that bridges the gap between the chart-topping hits you love and the dazzling world of jukebox musicals. From the timeless melodies of ABBA to the anthems of Take That, and from the raw emotion of Alanis Morissette to the pop brilliance of Kylie Minogue, we celebrate the artists who made these songs unforgettable with a special Bollywood remix of the 1990s classic Better The Devil You Know by the indomitable Soundmoda.

Get ready for an electrifying night as we turn chart classics into stage sensations! Each performance offers a fresh twist on the songs that have defined generations. Tonight, we're thrilled to showcase our first-year BA (Hons) Musical Theatre Performance students in a standout rendition of 'Dancing Queen,' guided by the expert musical direction of Aaron Alexander, a creative leader in vocal development, and the captivating choreography of theatre impresario Amy Ross, whose talent is a tour de force.

'Chart to Stage' features choreography from some of the most innovative and inspiring artists in the industry. Each choreographer brings their unique flair and passion, making this an unforgettable experience:

Chelsie Innes, a beacon of creativity, captivates and inspires with her imaginative choreography. Georgia Rose Thompson is a visionary of innovation, known for her groundbreaking and dynamic dance creations. Joey Bethall, a maestro of energy, electrifies the stage with vibrant choreography. Joshua Bass Pilmore is an architect of artistry, internationally acclaimed for his exceptional talent and exceptional ability to visualise shape and form. Lauren McGuire is a master of rhythm and line, enriching performances with her experience. Macy James is a luminary of expression, whose emotive choreography deeply resonates. Pippa Holliday is a virtuoso of elegance, adding sophistication with her graceful movements. Poppy Radford, a dynamo of enthusiasm, infuses each piece with infectious passion. Rhian Duncan is a star of brilliance, with West End experience shining through every step. Sunita Bolton is a paragon of creativity, pushing the boundaries of dance with her innovative approach. Toby Miller is a genius of rhythm, seamlessly blending precision and flair, introducing Harry Brooks, a rising star of promise, who brings a fresh perspective and talent as a graduate of the Creative Academy.
