Our 5-year WELEAD SRHR journey in Adamawa comes to a close
but the impact is just beginning!
From SRHR education and advocacy to safe spaces for IDPs, young women and girls have led powerful change. At our grand close-out, all key stakeholders—Gov’t reps, Ministry of Health, Women Affairs, IOM, LGA leaders, PHC agencies, media, IDP camp leaders & rightsholders—came together to celebrate this shared success.
Most importantly, the Adamawa State Government has committed to sustaining the SRHR intervention! With a bold pledge from the Director of Public Health to increase SRHR budgeting and implementation, the 5-year effort by TFT will live on—stronger and state-led.
