Dehilling grapes using a single side mounted unit after a take away plow was used to create a narrow ridge. The Adaptive Cultivator System (ACS) can not only maintain a higher speed (up to 9kph, 6mph) but also delivers a better finish as it can reach right up around the base of the vines, as well as better crumbling and a smoother finish with the spyders.
Although designed for weed control in vineyards, orchards, nurseries, berries and hemp, the ACS can be used for dehilling and other soil movement applications without damage to the crop or infrastructure. It is easily mounted to any existing side mount or toolbar with a 2” or 50mm square bar and requires no hydraulic or electronic input, other than a way to lift it at the end of the row. The ACS can be adjusted for a range of applications and its design allows it to passively adapt to changing ground conditions.
Small growers face unique challenges and often must rely on older equipment that was developed many years ago for mechanized cultivation. This often means farmers are forced to rely on parts that are obsolete, poorly constructed or difficult to find.
Our goal is to produce a variety of implements for planting, cultivation, harvest, post-harvest, and more.
These implements will be built to last and fully supported by Tilmor, making it easy to find and purchase the equipment you need to maintain your farm.
