A satirical, first-person take on the blunt tactics used to seize power in Africa, trade, treaties, missionaries, mines, guns and the long game of debt. Not a how-to, a wake-up call.

In this darkly funny, first-person monologue I trace the blunt toolkit imperial powers used to take control of African countries, from trinkets and treaties to missionaries, superior firepower, and decades of economic strings that followed.
well added a bit of zaz but purely for entertainment purposes.

This is satire with teeth: a creative piece that exposes how influence was won and kept, and how those historical tactics still echo today in modern forms of control land-grabs, unfair contracts, debt diplomacy.
