A challenging day for installing solar panels

Today, Doora farm was experiencing one of its busiest and most exciting days. From early morning, a gentle breeze moved through the tents and barns, carrying the fresh scent of damp earth. Shortly after sunrise, Nasro and Mahboubeh, with the help of Ghodrat, brought the wooden boards from Zahra’s farm to Dora’s. These boards were needed to build a new shade structure for the animals, and with the skills they had learned from years of nomadic life, they completed the task quickly and precisely. The work had barely finished when news arrived that special guests were on their way. As the guests approached, a wave of excitement spread through Grandmother’s family. Everyone was busy preparing to welcome them. Some hurried to set the table and light the cooking fire, while others cleaned the yard and the tents. The women of the family began chopping herbs, washing rice, and preparing the meat to cook a delicious, traditional nomadic meal. The sound of laughter, footsteps, and lively conversations filled the air, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. At the same time, two city men arrived at the farm, neatly dressed and visibly curious. They had come to repair the solar panels—equipment that holds great importance for nomadic living. Their presence, alongside the other guests, made the day feel even more colorful. Although the people of the farm live simply, they are known for their generous hearts and warm hospitality. They made sure that no one, not even the city repairmen, would miss the kindness of their welcome. Soon, the aroma of food spread throughout the farm: the scent of steaming rice, fresh meat, and warm bread baking on the saj. Children wandered around the fire, watching the guests with curiosity. The adults, calm and respectful, offered hot tea and local dishes to the visitors. Today, Dora’s farm was more than just a place to live—it was a scene of unity, hard work, and the beautiful spirit of Iran’s nomadic culture, where kindness and hospitality flowed from every corner.
