2000 Dodge Viper RT/10: The All-American Supercar

The 2000 Dodge Viper RT/10 is an exotic homegrown American muscle car for pure drivers. Since being discontinued in 2017 for the third time, Vipers are rapidly becoming collectors items as more and more of them are being bought as investments. Automobiles EtCetera have been gracious enough to let us put theirs under our microscope and let us feel what it means to be close to a beast. Memories of Ed Hardy and Limp Bizkit flood back to us as we hopped into the ultra low to the ground steel gray legend.

It offers a pure driving experience as you get to shift the old fashioned way - no fancy tiptronic or paddle shifters - just click clack into gear the way our grandfathers did it.

We’ll go over iron vs. aluminum engines, how the Viper reinvigorated the American muscle car, and how dangerous this car really is to drive every day.
