Former Ohio police officer Adam Coy sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for murder of Andre Hill

Adam Coy was sentenced on Monday to 15 years to life in prison for the shooting death of Andre Hill in 2020.

Coy, a former Columbus police officer, could be eligible for parole in 15 years.

Coy was convicted in November. He maintained that he mistook a set of keys in Hill's hands for a gun. Hill was unarmed at the time.
