Someshwar Temple in Pashan : राजमाता जिजामाता प्रार्थना करण्यासाठी येत असत.

This is 900 years old temple and very famous in Baner-Pashan area for it's Swayambhu Shivlinga.
History states that Rajmata Jijabai along with Bal Shivaji Maharaj used to visit this place during 1640-1650 era. During Peshwa rule Shivram Bhatt Chitra Swami found a Pot filled with Gold which he gave it to Nansaheb Peshwa who later used it to renew this monument. Plan a trip to know the history and experience the sinerity and silence. Must visit place in Pune near Baner-Pashan Road at Someshwar Wadi.
