The Great Departure Lounge: A Conversation on Michael Tracy

As part of the spring banner exhibition, "Michael Tracy: The Elegy of Distance," the McNay welcomed guests to an insightful discussion on the life and work of the late artist and activist Michael Tracy.

René Paul Barilleaux, Head of Curatorial Affairs; Luanne McKinnon, author of an upcoming book on Tracy; and Christopher Rincón, President of Michael Tracy Foundation and Director of River Pierce Foundation, discussed Tracy's career and the process and themes of his art. Opening remarks by Matthew McLendon, CEO and Director of the McNay Art Museum.
