Darth Talon Build: Fixing Cracks, Filling Gaps, and Adding Lights!

Dive into the latest update for my Darth Talon Star Wars build! In this long-form video, I take you through the detailed process of sanding, priming, and perfecting parts for this intricate 3D printed model. From boots to thighs, no detail is too small as we tackle support marks, fill imperfections, and work toward a flawless finish.

I started by sanding down the first boot, using tools like the Dspiae pen sander and Mr. G Tool Pro Polisher III for precision. Cleaning up support marks and ensuring a perfect fit is essential for high-quality results, even though it’s a tedious process. I also demonstrated how I used Bondo to fill gaps, sanded it smooth, and prepped the parts for primer. The boots are finally ready for painting!

The thighs presented their own set of challenges, from cracking to support-related imperfections. I walked through how I carefully sanded and adjusted these parts while preserving as much detail as possible. Despite a few setbacks, including losing minor details due to sanding, the fit came out tight and clean, setting us up for the next phase of the build.

Finally, I shared some exciting progress on the lighting setup. From fogging up the red ring for light diffusion to prepping the LED tape for installation, every step brings us closer to an incredible final product. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to bring Darth Talon to life!
