Chicken art therapy

My chicken needed some bonding time so we spent the afternoon painting.
I started painting the day after she hatched, but I have a lot to learn.
Sorry about so many cuts. Working with such a young animal, we needed frequent breaks to see to the chicken's needs. They are very hungry at that stage of life and it's important to their growth and health that they can eat and drink frequently. Hopefully, they weren't too distracting.
Although the chick did eat of Prussian blue (my favourite colour too), she was fine after. I did look up the safety sheets for this brand before starting this adventure and the paints said they were non-toxic. It turns out they are mostly edible chalk and the pigment used to make Prussian Blue is also used in chelation to treat toxins.
The thing about the camera battery exploding happened although it was more of a sudden swelling - twice. I'm now down to one camera battery.
