My 1975 Mercedes-Benz 450SL (R107) left me stranded. Since I’ve converted this M117 V8 from fuel injection to a carburetor, off-the-shelf parts for the throttle linkage simply don't exist. In this video, I dive into the garage to diagnose the breakdown and fabricate a new throttle cable base and linkage from scratch to get this classic back on the road.
