The 1290 SuperDuke R is back for another round, and KTM present us with the all new BEAST 3.0. All the stops have been pulled out for 2020 and KTM have delivered a Superduke that is leaner, meaner, faster and sharper in every way!

The original SuperDuke became iconic for all that is uncivilised in the motorcycle world, but KTM has managed to perfectly blend those hooligan characteristics with sporting capability, refinement and speed with this latest edition. The 2020 SuperDuke R is now as comfortable mid-corner as it is mid-wheelie with rock solid chassis and handling package combined with a 1300cc 180hp v-twin packing more grunt than Miss Trunchbull!

As an entertainment package alone, the KTM SuperDukeR is incredibly hard to beat and had us grinning from ear to ear from start to finish. However, it is not a 1 trick pony, this is a riders bike that can cut some real lines on road and on track with fantastic feel and sporting performance.

The other stand out feature on the 2020 1290 SuperDuke R are the looks, build quality and components. The SuperDukeR is outstanding in the looks department and like we say on film, at most angles, the bike is breathtakingly stunning and arguably the hottest looking SuperNaked for 2020. The glass screen, instrumentation, body panel’s and tactile feel of the bike are outstanding and the components fitted are top notch, Brembo Stylemas, fully adjustable suspension and S22 Bridgestone Hypersport tyres fitted as standard.

Admittedly, there were a few niggles on our test bike, the launch control was temperamental, as were the indicators, and the horn didn’t work… but once ironed out, this is a bike that is hard to beat.
