Conehead Zonker, Holsinger's Fly Shop, Episode 492

The Conehead Zonker is a very cool pattern that was suggested to me by one of my local customers who had a lot of success with a similar pattern. He sent me a picture of it and I did my best to imitate the streamer from the picture I was shown. After tying it I plopped it into my pool in front of the filter return to see how it acted in a current and it totally rocked. It has a ton of action and movement in the water. Tying it in the color shown in the video makes for a great minnow imitation, however it can just as easily be tied in other colors with good success.
