Stockpile Review (buying stocks for beginners )

This video is part 2 of the two part series. The first video is my boys and I talking about buying stocks, what it means to invest in a company, and the stocks they want to buy.

This is part of the Grow Your Dough Throwdown. I wanted to get my boys involved in the challenge.

I wasn’t sure where I wanted to open an account, but I knew that I wanted to open a custodial account for both boys.

There are lots of platforms that offer this, but I wanted to try something different so that we have a good mix of platforms to compare for the challenge. 📈

I chose Stockpile. What I liked about them was the they seemed to really cater to kids and teach them how to start investing. They also offer gift cards, which is a great birthday gift for kids. 🎁

This platform is really easy to use. It’s great that they also let you buy fractional shares! 🤓

How does Stockpile compare to some of the others out there? They offer trades for $0.99 which is lower than some of the platforms out there, but higher than M1 or Robinhood the has no trading fee.
