Learning Shape through a Story, May's Bilingual Preschool

Storytelling is very powerful in early childhood education.

In our today's circle time, we learned some shapes through a story (If You Give a Dog a Doughnut).

We gave a task to the preschoolers (telling the items in the story with the shapes of circle, oval, diamond, and rectangle) before the story to help them pay attention to the details.

It worked very well: the preschoolers learned the shapes and the story while having a fun time.
