SlickStart Magneto Booster demonstration

This is a demonstration of the Unison Industries SlickStart magneto spark booster. This STC'd device connects easily to any approved magneto and provides a much hotter spark during the starting sequence. It really helps start the aircraft in many difficult conditions, like cold weather (low battery power), oil or fuel fouled plugs, hot starts, carbon fouling, etc. It is not a panacea for shoddy engine maintenance and will not correct carburetor or fuel injector problems, mag harness problems, bad starter motor, etc. But for a good engine, it really generates a spark that will burn through a lot of junk and get the engine started. Our Glasair starts like a car engine with this. We used to crank until we were blue in the face (and the starter motor was probably RED hot !). Our engine was very sensitive to priming technique and now it starts like a charm.

But I don't know what happened to the price. It was $334 when I bought it in July '07 and now it is $671 !?
