Families have lots of questions when it comes to the college admissions process. Our Director of College and Career Advising, Dr. Amanda Sterk, will share how colleges review both academic and non-academic factors when determining college admissions. We often talk about GPA and test scores, but there are a host of other criteria that colleges look at: rigor of secondary record, class rank, application essay, letters of recommendation, interviews, extracurricular activities, character/personal qualities, state residency, race/ethnic status, and level of applicant interest.
