Dale Evans Rogers - ANGEL UNAWARE - Happy 100th Birthday! - Music Video Home Movies

In celebration of Dale's 100th birthday (which is 31 Oct 2012), we made a music video to her fantastic song, "Angel Unaware". The song was written by Dale and is a companion to her bestselling book, "Angel Unaware". In 1950, Roy and Dale had a baby who had downs syndrome and some other physical problems. Although the doctors advised placing her in a mental institution, Roy and Dale took her home and loved her like a normal child. She died two days shy of her second birthday. Soon after, Dale wrote "Angel Unaware", which tells the story of Robin's time on earth. The book was a bestseller and helped people to not hide their downs children. It had a huge impact and is still an inspiring book today.

The song was released on Dale's 1975 album, "Heart of the Country".
