What a day I had at Chasewater Railway's, "60th Anniversary Gala" | 31/08/25

In part two of Chasewater Railway's, "60th Anniversary Gala" I was still there until the end of the day. Mainly to keep on filming, riding, and bashing the locos.
The highlights include, 'Dunlop', and 'Alfred Paget' double-heading, and then TnTailing on a passenger service. Some other workings at Chasewater Heaths Station, with a wheelslip from 'Hollybank'. Also some of the abandoned locomotives stored in the sidings, that I thought were worth of interest. A ride on the FNW Pacer, and it was a VERY bumpy ride indeed, (as briefly seen in the video). Finally, the final curtain call, which featured D9551 hauling the last train of the Gala. With the driver giving what for, towards Chasetown Station, and back. The first departure features some horns, an 'Ilkley Moor Bah Tat', clag, thrash, and flailing from the legend driver at the helm. The legend driver was so nutty, he even went a little over the line speed limit. The next departure featured some more music, and monstrous clag. Which ended the day on a fantastic note.
I had a VERY fantastic day at Chasewater Railway, during their "60th Anniversary Gala." And I would like to thank the volunteers for making it a very memorable experience. And I would also like to thank the nutty driver of D9551, for putting on a spectacular show as well.

I am sorry that I wasn't able to show every clip from that day. It was a shame, mainly due to how well all of the clips were filmed. Because after I had rewatched all of the footage. I realised that I hadn't filmed trains (handheld), that perfectly for four years. But I am planning to show these clips in a future video, as there is some more unseen footage that I have filmed from Chasewater, that must be shown.
