Excluded by Paris, Hungary's Orban bluntly says Europe missed chance in negotiating Russia, Ukraine

Hungary's PM Viktor Orban bluntly shared his insights on the coming US Russia talks as Macron-led European heads gathered in Paris to discuss a unified strategy on Ukraine.

Orban is speaking alongside visiting Serbia's President Vucic in Budapest.

He criticized EU leaders had missed opportunities to take initiative in the Ukraine peace talks.

The war in Ukraine could turn into the European Union’s “Afghanistan,” Orban claimed Friday when speaking to former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in Dubai.

He further noted that EU had involved in a grinding and costly engagement
with “no way out”.
