Sweet Georgia Brown was a hit song in 1925 that was written by Maceo Pinkard and Ken Casey, although the white bandleader Ben Bernie somehow had his name added on. This roll is played by Lee Sims, a great pianist of the 1920's. Because the song is about an irrrestible Black prostitute, the lyrics have been somewhat changed over the years so that they will not be offensive to even the stupidest moron.
