Hello everyone, and welcome to the new season and a new look. ☀️
We travelled to Bon Echo Provincial Park, located a few hours northeast of Toronto, for our first camping trip of the season. After battling the 401 during rush hour the day before, we were glad to reach such a pristine destination in the province of Ontario. 🇨🇦
Bon Echo Provincial Park offers campers a wide variety of activities, from canoeing, 🛶paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and much more. It's a huge provincial park and can accommodate trailers, tents, and has backcountry camping and canoeing as well. 🏕️
Stock up before you get there!!! 🥞🥯🥕
Bon Echo is somewhat isolated, and even though there is a grocery nearby, Options are limited. We finally decided to take a canoe out for a change, and you pretty much have to at this park. The Mazinaw rock is the main attraction and is much more majestic from up close. You can also Test For Echo ( A tribute to Neil Peart) and hear your voice come back at you. 🥁🎸
We also tried some great new dishes 🥗 and products, including a new ☀️product called Plantropy, which uses jackfruit and seitan to create a meaty-textured kabob. Fiddleheads were also on the menu, and it was the perfect time of year for them. The Jackfruit Kabobs were delicious, and I highly recommend trying.

Making a rice bowl was something I never tried either, and I discovered it was easy. What made it extra good was a plant-based halloumi cheese we used from a place called.

The black bean burgers are also a Canadian brand called:

Let me know in the comments section if you want my chickpea spread recipe. I know there are lots out there, but mine is better! 😀
My pancakes were a success using the chickpea liquid as an egg. So I definitely will be showing and explaining that in future videos.
And finally, we do hope you enjoy the content. We are trying to build a community of healthy camping that includes different plant-based foods, whether it be "Fake Meat" or just cooking healthy vegetables. If you do eat meat or dairy, I thank you for watching and checking us out.
There's nothing wrong with diversifying your diet and exploring other options, even if it's not your thing.
And last, but not least, I would love it if you would subscribe and help keep me motivated to keep making mind-blowing content. 😀
