Niagara Express GO Train & VIA Railfanning at Bronte GO! October 3, 2021

On this rainy Sunday, I went to Bronte GO Station in Oakville to film some very special trains.

The first train was VIA 72 with F40PH 6409 flying through the station. I got quite lucky with this train, as soon as I stepped on the platform it was approaching the station, so I whipped out my phone just in time to film it.

Next, there was a 'train race' between two GO Trains! The first train was the eastbound Niagara express train absolutely flying through the station with locomotive MP54AC 680! The second train was also an epic one, it had locomotive MP40 601 with old cab car 255, although I've filmed that consist 5 times already so not too excited for it.

The next train was what I came here for, VIA 73 was a J-Train with VIA 87! VIA 73 had locomotive F40PH 6418 and 5 coaches, and VIA 87 had unwrapped P42DC 901 with four Budd cars!

Next, there was a very nice doubleheader, featuring the return to service of MP54AC 677! It was paired with MP40 619.

The last train wasn't as significant as the rest, but it was the westbound Niagara Express train absolutely flying through the station! It was powered by locomotive MP40 651.
