"After the Storm" was an exhibition curated by the San Lorenzo Valley Museum and hosted at the Santa Cruz County Government Offices on Ocean Street in Santa Cruz, California, courtesy of the Arts Council Santa Cruz County. It asked artist to reflects on the recent "storms" in Santa Cruz Mountain and their reflection. The "storms" have been many; fires, floods, COVID, and landslides. After the CZU fire, one artist decided to document what might have been destroyed should the fire have been allowed to devastate the town of Boulder Creek. Others featured the growth witnessed after the winter rains. The exhibition featured 11 local artists and 21 works of art. It was on display from August 1, - 31, 2023.
