Join us for a discussion with three amazing, child advocates as they discuss advocacy and intersections including the problem with current ABA advocacy - both for and against, how the current environment of ABA and advocacy affects Black families in particular, and how current alternatives to ABA are inaccessible to Black families.

Tiffany Joseph of Nigh.functioning autism is an Autistic, single parent of three neurodivergent children, two of which are Autistic. Tiffany uses both AAC and speech to communicate and her goal is to help all stakeholders in the autism community understand how important communication and literacy is, as well as help everyone understand how much we all have in common so together we can fight large issues.   / nigh.functioning.autism  
Tiffany Hammond is the voice behind Fidgets and Fries. She is an Autistic mother, advocate, and storyteller who uses her personal experiences with Autism and parenting two Autistic boys to guide others on their journey. She has a Masters in Developmental Psychology and spends her time teaching, coaching, and mentoring others in Disability Justice issues. Her activism is rooted in challenging the current perception of Autism as a lifelong burden, cultivating a community that explores the concept of Intersectionality, and inspiring thought leaders through storytelling, education, and critical discourse. Chazz Lewis's mission is to help adults truly See, Guide and Trust children. He is pushing the needle a little closer toward world peace. He goes by, “Mr.Chazz” and he even has a song to prove it. He has been a teacher of teachers and parents for a decade. He has worked with many schools, thousands of teachers and thousands of children. He has trained thousands of teachers in person and virtually. He has over 250+ on Tiktok (@MrchazzMrchazz) and 200K+ on Instagram (Mrchazz). He has appeared on platforms like Good Morning America, Yahoo, and Parents.com. He is in the process of writing a book.
