Over the horizon radar ?

It was a strange one today with some good dx coming in when this signal appeared further up the band then the dx dropped off ,it then moved directly over 27.555 mhz totally blocking signals then it disappeared and signals started to return ,a few people in chat have said its an over the horizon radar ,wonder where its from .

Unfortunately a local station likes to play music and wipe the signals out now and again, and another station is more or less at the end of my garden so if on this band or frequency signals will be lost .i have 5 very local stations which is great and its good the hobby is still alive .
