This video was made in 2001 and records some good local history. It follows the staff from Homebase at Crossley Park Kidderminster, which ceased trading in March 2001, to a new B & Q Warehouse in Green Street. Both stores had a big impact on the town, employing over 150 staff. It chronicles the last days at Crossley Park to the building on land previously occupied by carpet factories. It includes the demolition of Naylors chimney, a significant land mark and the famous Victoria Carpet Co. offices. It concludes with the grand opening on 14th. December 2001.
