But this one example is enough to understand how important the birthplace of the same father and grandfather is to the next generation. But today, in this video, I am showing the scene of an 81-year-old man coming from Myanmar to Chungmang in Dhankuta in search of his father's homeland, which he has never seen before.

He is 81-year-old Ganga Prasad Pokhrel. Born in Myanmar and spent his life there, he was drawn to his father's birthplace in the latter part of his life. That's why he came to Nepal to see his father's homeland even at this old age. His father Chandrakant Pokhrel was born in Pakhriwas Municipality Ward No. 10 Chungmang of present day Dhankuta.He came to Nepal from Myanmar at the age of 81 to see the same Chungmaang. Visited the birthplace of the father. He says that he heard about this place from his father's mouth since he was a child.
Chandrakant Pokhrel was the youngest son of Mohanlal Pakhrel. Among the 3 sons of Mohan Lal, the eldest son Loknath and the wife's son stayed in Chungmangmai. But the younger son Chandrakant left for Myanmar in 1972 at the age of 15. After reaching Myanmar, he settled there and raised his family there. Although Chandrakant Pokhrel liked Nepal a lot in the latter part of his life, he did not get to come to Nepal.
He says that he wanted to come to Nepal because of what his father had discussed, but he could not come for various reasons throughout his age, but he came later. His daughter has also come with him now. He says that his ancestral village is like a shrine. They say that the country where the parents were born and the country where they were born have their own importance, so they cannot be compared.
