On 30 October 2025, at the heart of Tamborine Mountain Glades, a love story unfolded beneath towering trees and soft Queensland light — a story not only of two people promising forever, but of a family already intertwined in the deepest way.

The day began with a whisper of rain, a gentle curtain over the morning as Renee prepared with her closest people. Drops clung to the windows like held breaths, then slowly gave way, letting sunlight pour through just in time for the ceremony. The world seemed to shift for them — the sky opening, the forest glowing, the greens of the hinterland rich and alive.

Renee shared a beautiful first look with her bridesmaids and her brother as she emerged from the room, revealing her gown. Emotion rose like a tide as those closest to her witnessed the moment, a quiet, intimate pause before the day truly began.

The ceremony took place at the Rainforest Amphitheatre, a pergola-like structure surrounded by towering trees. The bridal party walked down the stairs into this sheltered, intimate space. Two small boys stepped forward to place flowers on a memorial chair along the aisle, honoring those who could not be present, before the rest of the bridal party continued down the aisle. Luke’s breath caught as Renee approached, his eyes full, as if the entire world had narrowed into her smile.
