Armed with a scoped rifle and scent-masking tools, Trevor follows game trails through the forest, using clues like footprints, droppings, and elk calls to locate his target.
Cletus guides Trevor through proper hunting etiquette—watch the wind direction, take a steady shot, and avoid scaring off nearby wildlife. Trevor must rely on patience and accuracy to bring down one or more elk cleanly. After each successful shot, he tags the carcass so a local processing crew can collect it later.
The mission emphasizes stealth and precision rather than chaos, giving a rare peaceful moment in Trevor’s storyline. Completing the hunt rewards the player with improved firearm proficiency and opens access to additional hunting activities across Blaine County.
