New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani has chosen the city's next fire commissioner. Lillian Bonsignore, a well-respected retired EMS chief, will be the next fire commissioner.
Bonsignore will be the second female fire commissioner, behind Laura Kavanagh.
