In this video we collect our project Range Rover Sport from the MOT test. It has failed the MOT but not too bad.... a couple of binding brakes and a front wheel bearing gone. So we show you how to fit a new hub... should be easy apart from the wheel nuts turn out to be rubbish and the hardest part of the job is getting the wheel nuts off.... who would have thought..... but it gave Dan a channel for his anger !
PS - Dan is still struggling with spelling on the title page !!
Here are the torque settings
Hub retaining bolts - 115 Nm ( 4 bolts holding your new hub on )
Disc support bolt - 35 Nm ( the single tapered bolt that hold the brake disc in place )
Caliper Carrier - 275 Nm ( the 2 bolts at the rear holding the caliper carrier to the upright )
Caliper bolts - 35 Nm ( The 2 bolts that go into the caliper guide pins )
Hub Nut - 230 Nm ( The big central hub nit )
Wheel bolts - 140 Nm
